As Easter approaches, I find myself once again trying to come up with healthy alternatives to candy to fill the kids’ baskets. I try to limit the amount of sugar I give them, and holidays are no exception. I have seen many alternatives to this idea while browsing Pinterest, so I thought I would give it a try. A DIY favor idea for Passover.
Pesach (Passover) brings so many childhood memories of late night Seders, friends and family, and of course the wonderful flavors that go along with this Holiday, celebrated this year on April 14 - 22. My best friend Blythe, of over 20 years, is celebrating her birthday—and when I saw these creative cupcakes, I was inspired by how fun they would be to make with kids. Blythe is a substitute teacher and I had to make them for her party, as well as pass along the idea for her to do with one of her … [Read more...]
