Calling all bird lovers! Did you know that February is National Bird Feeding Month? To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to create a little DIY Bird Feeder tutorial. I remember making pinecone bird feeders in Girl Scouts when I was young. While looking online for other ideas, I found this post on Pretzel Bird Feeders and decided to make some. This is a great craft to do with kids because its so easy and fun to make. While I was standing in the kitchen, my fingers covered in peanut butter, I thought of the idea of giving a bird feeder as a gift! So I came up with a cute packaging idea and gave them out to my friends and neighbors.
Here’s What You Need:
• Large Pretzels
• Peanut Butter
• Sunflower nuts or bird seed
• Paper Plate
Step Four: Tie a string to your pretzel for easy hanging.
Step Five: Once your pretzel is dried out a little, package it in a cellophane bag. Add your own custom MOL labels and tie it closed with a ribbon. Give out to your friends and neighbors as a welcoming spring gift.
