3-Ingredient Chocolate Fudge Sauce
Adapted from Top with Cinnamon.
• ½ cup pitted dates
• 1 cup almond milk
• 2 tablespoons cocoa powder or 2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
In a blender, add the dates and the milk. Process for 2 minutes, or until the mixture is uniform.
Transfer the liquid to a small saucepan, and place over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, and reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Continue simmering until liquid has reached desired thickness.
Remove from heat. Add the cocoa powder or unsweetened baking chocolate and stir until fully incorporated.
Pour the chocolate sauce into a clean, airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a week. Serve warm or cold over ice cream, with sliced fruit, in oatmeal, or straight from the jar!
