Circus Peanut Party Favors

No matter how old you are, themed birthday parties are always so much fun. I recently helped a friend plan a circus themed party for her son’s 5th birthday. We chose favor and decoration ideas that were simple and easy to put together and the birthday boy and his guests loved them!

Here are some fun ideas we chose for Trenton’s circus party:
• We decorated with red, orange and blue balloons.
• We made a garland out of hang tags and colorful paper.
• We made clown cupcakes with ice cream cones for hats.
• We planned some circus games and activities to keep the kiddos happy and gave each guest a bag full of tickets that they could turn in at the different booths we had prepared. One booth was a face painting station, where one of our more artistic friends turned the little ones into clowns. We also had a ball toss game where the prize was a bag of gold fish crackers instead of a real gold fish, and we turned our food table into a concession stand, that served snow cones and corn dogs.

Knowing that some of our friends had peanut allergies we decided to make these adorable little treat bags filled with marshmallow peanuts instead of the real ones for all the guests to take home.

Circus Peanut Party Favors:
You Will Need:
• Small favor bags
• Circus peanuts
• Red ribbon
• Personalized labels
• Personalized hang tags

I would recommend sticking your label on your bag first so that the paper doesn’t wrinkle under it, then fill with the circus peanuts. Finish it off with the ribbon and hang tag.

    Hello,
I am planning a 1st birthday party for my nephew and would like to use your circus theme. Where did you get that image on the bag of circus peanuts? I would like to place an order and make the same type of bags.

    Thank You,
    Chandice

Hi Chandice. When I was making the labels for this blog post I simply did a google image search for “circus elephant”. The Internet is full of great, free images! Good luck! I hope everyone at the party enjoys the favors.
