Love Blossom Candy is a great complement to a spring wedding. Inspired by our Bouquet wedding invite, these favors are not only easy to make but can also be customized to match your wedding colors.
• candy mold
• colored candy melts
• microwavable piping bag or sandwich bag
(you can easily find these supplies at your local Michael’s Craft Store)
To make your Love Blossoms pour a bag of candy melts into a microwavable piping bag and heat for 20 second increments. I suggest mixing the melts around in the bag each time to ensure that it all melts evenly. Once it is ready, pipe a little bit of the melted candy into each mold. Tap your mold against a table to force out any bubbles. You’ll get a smoother looking blossom with this technique. Continue by filling the rest of the mold and finish off with some more taps to even out the candy. Let it sit until hardened.
That’s all it takes to make Love Blossom Melts, finish by packaging your candy melts in small favor boxes and decorating with some personalized labels and you’ll be ready for your big day.
Line each box with tissue paper and then fill each box with 4 Love Blossoms. Seal each box with a personalized label. To complete the look print out the PDF Printable of the dotted ribbon and cut out the strips. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the box and finish off with a an oval shaped label.
