5 Days of Fall Giveaways: Day 2

5 Days of Fall Giveaways: Day 2 | Evermine Blog | www.evermine.com

Day 2: This week, we’ll be collaborating with some of our favorite bloggers (who just happen to be regular contributors to the Evermine Blog) to put together a special series of fall-themed giveaways. For every day this week, one of our contributors will be giving away a prize: something they’ve made by hand that represents their own blog/business and aesthetic, along with a $50 gift certificate from Evermine! Enter the Rafflecopter at the bottom of the page for a chance to win.

For today’s giveaway, we’re collaborating with one of the newest additions to our blog family, Chelsia Rief from Catz in the Kitchen! We’ve been following Chelsia’s work for a long time, and her delicious recipes, gorgeous photography and family-centric writing style were what convinced us that she’d make the perfect addition to our team of regular contributors.

To help us get to know Chelsia a little better, we’ve asked her a few questions about her blogging history, as well as a question about the delicious prize she’s made for today’s giveaway:

Q&A with Chelsia Rief of Catz in the Kitchen

Hi Chels! Where do you blog?
You can find me blogging over at CatzintheKitchen.com.

Please say a few words to describe your blog for us.

I’m all about food, so you’ll mostly find me sharing recipes that are geared toward bringing family back to the dinner table. Occasionally, we’ll even highlight a restaurant/travel review.

So what got your started in the world of blogging?
I started blogging back in 2010. At the time, we were living in an apartment and we only had one car, and since I’m a stay-at-home mom whom also homeschools, I needed an outlet. Something that I could do, but that would also be beneficial to my family. I loved to cook and bake and write, so I thought I would start a blog and see where it went.

And how long have you been contributing to the Evermine Blog?
I’ve been contributing at Evermine since April of 2014.

Can you say a few words to describe your prize for us?
I like surprising friends and family with little treats here and there, so I thought some spiced nuts would be a great prize. It’s the perfect treat for a sweet tooth!

And what about your posts for the Evermine Blog. Do you have a fall fave?
One of my most recent posts is this Honey Maple Granola with Pecans. Granola is not only a great snack, but a great breakfast staple.

Thanks so much for chatting with us Chels! It’s always a pleasure. Be sure to check out Chelsia on her website at catzinthekitchen.com.

Josephine Guicciardi is the nom de plume of our creative Evermine blogger. With romantic connections to Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Immortal Beloved” love letters, it is in keeping with the blog’s themes of love and joy. The great composer writes the famous words “ever thine, ever mine, ever ours” to a woman who remains a mystery to this day. Two of the most likely objects of his adoration are Josephine Brunsvik and Guilietta Guicciardi, and it’s from these two women that Josephine Guicciardi draws her persona.

  1. I love mulled cider in the fall! Actually I love it all the way through to spring, but it is especially wonderful on chilly fall days.

  2. Ooh – so hard to chose between Spiced Cider; Cinnamon Apple Spice tea or a wonderful Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks! These pecans look amazing!
