Day 4: This week, we’ll be collaborating with some of our favorite bloggers (who just happen to be regular contributors to the Evermine Blog) to put together a special series of fall-themed giveaways! For every day this week, one of our contributors will be giving away a prize: something they’ve made by hand that represents their own blog/business and aesthetic, along with a $50 gift certificate from Evermine! Enter the Rafflecopter at the bottom of the page for a chance to win.

For today’s giveaway, Evermine is partnering with Stephanie Rose of Garden Therapy! Q&A with Stephanie Rose of Garden Therapy

Hi Stephanie! Where do you blog?
Garden Therapy: http://gardentherapy.ca/

Describe your blog for us!
Garden Therapy is a DIY, craft, and recipe blog from the garden or for the garden. From ornamental to vegetable gardening, seed starting to seed saving, and throughout all four seasons, you will find projects that appeal to both the beginner and seasoned gardener. I try to showcase short, crafty ideas that get you outside for short bursts, experiencing the joy that gardening can bring. I hope that you find something special that you can really dig into, and fall in love with the garden as I have.

So what got you started in the world of blogging?
I started blogging to log the transformation of my first garden, and over the years it bloomed into projects to inspire others to join in on the garden therapy.

And how long have you been contributing to the Evermine blog?
My first Evermine blog post was on October 24, 2012 so it’s my 2 year anniversary!

That’s awesome! Can you describe your prize for us?
This set of screen printed napkins comes from a design I created for holiday napkins I made for my aunt. I drew a stylized pinecone and screened it in multiple colors on a high quality napkin. The design is heat-set so it is completely washable.

Do you have a link with a recipe or craft tutorial either on your own blog or the Evermine blog? If so, where can we find it?
I don’t have the exact tutorial for screen printing, but this type of print could also be made by block printing as I have done here.

Thanks so much for talking with us, Stephanie! Be sure to check out Stephanie’s site, Garden Therapy, and don’t forget to sign up for the Garden Therapy newsletter to get DIY garden projects, yummy recipes, and crafty goodness delivered right to your inbox each week!

Josephine Guicciardi is the nom de plume of our creative Evermine blogger. With romantic connections to Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Immortal Beloved” love letters, it is in keeping with the blog’s themes of love and joy. The great composer writes the famous words “ever thine, ever mine, ever ours” to a woman who remains a mystery to this day. Two of the most likely objects of his adoration are Josephine Brunsvik and Guilietta Guicciardi, and it’s from these two women that Josephine Guicciardi draws her persona.

  1. While I love all kinds of ciders; foo-foo fall flavored coffees & hot chocolates – my go-to hot beverage is a good strong English or Irish black tea with milk & sweetener. These tea towels are so pretty! Thanks for the opportunity.
