What’s more fun than a shopping spree, cheaper than a new shirt and not at all as sensual as it sounds? You got it: a naked lady party.
For the uninitiated, here’s how it works. Invite all your gal friends over for some snacks and sips and ask them to bring all the clothes that they just don’t wear anymore and wouldn’t mind giving up. When everyone arrives, throw all the clothes together in the middle of a big room, or, alternately, organize the clothes in piles around the room according to garment type. Then have at it. Free clothes! Invariably, most everyone will want to try something on, hence the name of the party. Fashion commentary and mirth ensues as everyone seems to find a few gems while cleaning out their closets all in one afternoon.
My housemate and I provided wine for our most recent naked lady party, and coordinated three bottles with personalized labels welcoming our guests. It’s easy to do this by soaking the front half of the wine bottles, which loosens the adhesive. I like to leave the original back labels on the bottles in case someone really loves one of the wines. We also included matching blank labels to serve as name tags for the drinking glasses, adding some playful sophistication to make the day a little more memorable.
The wine bottle labels and the drink tags pictured here are in the Joy style in mint, aruba and deep red in the rectangle small and large bottle shapes (sizes 02 and 17). I love how the main font of this label perfectly matches the playful sexiness of the text: Naked Lady Party.
Used In This Project:
- Large Labels • I chose the “Joy” style in mint, aruba and deep red.
- Small Rectangle Labels • I chose the “Joy” style in mint, aruba and deep red.
