Camp Memories Birthday Favors

Camp Memories Birthday from Idea Land blog.(Used in this project: Square Labels, Scallop Tags and Pinback Buttons in Metropolitan style with Small Gift Boxes.)

Camp memories last a lifetime. And so do camp birthdays! My daughter who is turning 13 is celebrating her birthday only a couple days into summer camp. I wanted to make this birthday extra special for her, since combatting bouts of home-sickness is normal, but then there’s the added aspect of celebrating a special day without family.

I decided to make little birthday boxes full of ‘memories’ that my daughter and her bunkmates will celebrate with, and remember long past goodbyes are said. A box of laughter, fun and friendships, packed neatly with little details, making it personal. Of course, the day is celebrating her birth and so it seemed perfectly fitting to customize the top of the box with a sweet label in her favorite color.

Each friend will receive a mini beading set with a tag strung on the bracelet, personalized with their bunk’s initials! To top off the day and to make her birthday stand out, cute mini personalized buttons will be worn in celebration. A day of uniting friends with a gift that lasts forever….memories. Happy Birthday to my oldest daughter, who I love so much!
