We’re throwing a Halloween party at the office this year! Everyone is encouraged to dress up and bring in something to celebrate. I’m always on the lookout for treats I can make myself, in place of store bought goodies. Candy Corn Bark is a simple and fun sweet to bring to any gathering and give away.

• 24 ounces white chocolate almond bark
• 2- 7.5 ounce bags of candy corn
• Yellow sprinkles (optional)Supplies Needed:
• One cookie sheet
• Aluminum foil
• One large knife
• A glass bowl
• Flat spatula (an icing knife would also work well)The first step is to prepare your cookie sheet. This part of the process will prevent this project from becoming too messy. Line the entire inside of the cookie sheet with aluminum foil; including the sides.
The almond bark comes in 2-ounce squares. Break each piece apart and place in your glass bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave for 90 seconds. Begin stirring the almond bark, until all parts are liquefied white chocolate. Poor the molten chocolate onto the aluminum foil in the cookie sheet. Using your flat spatula, push and spread the chocolate out to meet the sides of the cookie sheet.
At this point, you can immediately begin dropping the candy corn candies on top of the white chocolate. Once you have a layer of candy corn, add sprinkles all over the place!
Set the candy corn bark aside to dry in a cool and dry place. I usually let something like this dry inside the oven when I’m not using it- just remember that it is in there (I’ve had some preheating catastrophes.)
Now, using your large knife, slice the bark into pieces of differing sizes.
To present my homemade treats at the Halloween party, I piled a bunch of pieces of candy corn bark into small kraft gift boxes, tied a few strands of colorful yarn to affix my favor tag, and placed a label with a personalized Halloween message over the yarn strands. I unraveled the ends of each yarn, to give it that straw-like fall look!
