Materials/Tools:
– Large bowl
– Dehydrator
– Labels
– Hang tags
– Twine

Cantastic! Wildly Good Raw Nuts

Ingredients
  • 4 cups Pecans, Walnuts or Almonds
  • Filtered water to cover the nuts
  • 2 teaspoons salt (or 1 tablespoon salt if using almonds)
Instructions
  1. Combine the nuts, water and salt. Stir a couple times after a few minutes to be sure the dissolved salt is incorporated throughout the water.
  2. Soak for at least 7 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain and rinse the nuts several times.
  4. Distribute the nuts evenly onto dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 1-3 days, until the nuts have a crisp crunch.
