STEP 1:

Using a paper-cutter (or x-acto & ruler), cut cardstock into strips 3” x 1.5”.

STEP 2:

Take each strip and fold it in half. Then use your scissors to cut the folded square into a triangle.

Make sure that the fold is at the base of the triangle (not the tip).

STEP 3:

Continue folding strips and cutting into triangles. (I cut 2 of each color).

STEP 4:

Using a glue stick, glue your wedding tags together (back to back) so that the design is on both sides.

STEP 4:

Arrange your cut triangles and wedding tags in the order that you want them to appear on the garland strand.

STEP 5:

Cut a piece of hemp string about 54” long. Next choose your first triangle and put glue on both sides of the inside flaps.

STEP 6:

Place hemp in the fold of the folded triangle and press glued sides together, adhering the triangle to the string. Be sure to leave about 15” of string at each end for tying.

STEP 7:

Continue to glue triangle pieces to string leaving about a 1/2” space between triangles. String on the tags as needed.

Tie or pin strand to back of each chair. The perfect personalized decoration for any wedding, birthday, or celebration.

You can also use them over a door or on a mantle.
