Circus Animal Cookie Favors
I love planning themed parties and the new Circus style from Evermine is perfect for any birthday or baby shower. I made up these simple Animal Cookie Favors for Alexander’s fourth birthday party, and since the favors were so easy (I used store bought animal cookies), I decided to package them up in a cute, creative way.
Supplies Needed:
• Animal cookies
• Small cellophane bags
• Square labels
• Oval tags
• Ribbon
• Hole punch
• Coordinating scrapbook paper
• Scissors and/or paper cutter
Instructions:
Cut the scrapbook paper into 2.5” x 5” rectangles. Insert each rectangle into a small cellophane bag then add a square label to the front.
Next fill each bag with a handful of animal cookies. Fold over the cellophane and punch two holes near the top of the fold (just above the decorative paper). Cut a small piece of ribbon and feed it through the holes so the ends are facing to the front of the bag.
Feed both ends of the ribbon through the hole of the oval tag and tie a bow. Trim the ends of the ribbon at an angle for the final touch.
Used In This Project:
- Square Labels • I chose the “Circus” style in Sky.
- Tall Oval Hang Tags • I chose the “Circus” style in Sky.
- Cellophane Bags • I chose the small size.
