DIY Bath and Massage Oil
Here in the Pacific Northwest, the weather is still wintery enough to abuse the skin, so I decided to make myself a batch of bath and massage oil to help protect myself from the elements. I originally came across this idea from one of my favorite beauty blogs, Be Beautiful, and I liked it so much that I decided to make up another batch for a friend of mine who has an upcoming birthday this weekend.
To make my bath and massage oil, I just filled my small bottles with sweet almond oil and added a few drops of ylang-ylang essential oil, but you can switch out your carrier and essential oil with anything you’d prefer.
Then, to prepare my bath and massage oil for gifting, I used small glass bottles that I found at the thrift store, and packaged them using large, kraft colored paper favor bags (you’ll want to choose the size of your bags based on the size of your bottles), tuxedo colored hang tags in the style Bordeaux, and gold ribbon.
Used In This Project:
- Circle Hang Tags • I chose the “Tuxedo” color in the style Bordeaux.
- Large Paper Favor Bags • I chose the “Kraft” colored paper favor bags.
