DIY Groomsmen’s Aftershave Favors
Lately I’ve been having so much fun with Rosemary Gladstar’s awesome book, Herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health, which is full of sophisticated, but simple herbal recipes for health and beauty. One might suspect the book to be a bit lady-centric, but my latest Rosemary-inspired project is for the bros out there. Yep, it’s a very suave, warmly spicy herbal aftershave. If I got a peck on the cheek from a gent that smelled like this stuff, I’d definitely want another.
I think they’d make a fitting favor for groomsmen, especially with custom labels in a refined style like Treasury in sage, pictured here. Your best bro buds will feel like a million bucks the moment they receive a snappy bottle of your handmade aftershave, and every time they use its contents!

- 20 whole cloves
- 2 potent cinnamon sticks
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tablespoons juniper berries, crushed
- 1 handful of calendula
