DIY Guest Welcome Boxes
Having guests is always exciting, especially for my younger children who very kindly give up their beds and rooms to find other cozy places to sleep… such as the couch and floor in my bedroom! I think it’s so important for kids to learn about hospitality; giving our best to our guests, and learning how to be a gracious host or hostess.
I am so proud to see them scurry about, putting out clean towels, blankets and extra pillows in preparation for a guest’s arrival. To add to the basics, I made these ready-to-go boxes filled with bathroom essentials, making our guests’ stay even more accommodating: A lemongrass soap from France, q-tips, cotton balls, a facial cotton wipe and a mini pack of floss boxed in truffle boxes, all packaged in a cute jewelry box with a ribbon and matching labels to personalize the look.
These are the perfect size to have on hand for any last-minute sleepover guest. Place this welcome package on the top of a plush throw or blanket and you may soon understand why your guests never want to leave!
