If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you may already know about Evermine’s annual office cookie exchange during the holidays. The cool thing about our cookie exchange is that all participants bake their own cookies – no store bought cookies allowed! And let me tell you, we’ve got some talented bakers in our midst, which makes the already varied selection that much better.
When it comes to cookie exchanges, the rules are up to you. In addition to Evermine’s preference for home-baked cookies, we decided to have our participants bring enough for each person to take home three cookies this year. Some cookie exchanges require a half-dozen per person, but the amount you determine is strictly up to you, and can vary depending on how many volunteers sign up.
It’s also fun to have folks write their name + the name of their cookie beside their creations. Some people like to collect printed copies of the recipes used, too, so people can recreate their favorites.
Have you ever participated in a cookie exchange? If so, we’d love for you to comment below about your experience. And feel free to share your favorite recipe!
