Father’s Day Snack Jars
My husband, my father, my father-in-law, and my brother all work in an office. So, this year for Father’s Day, I decided to make some personalized snack jars for each of them, because, let’s face it, we all tend to snack while we’re on the job.
The tutorial for this Father’s Day gift idea is quite simple, but here is the breakdown of what you will need:
Father’s Day Snack Jars
Recipe Type: Father’s Day Gift
Author:
Ingredients
- glass jars or clear containers (I purchased my square glass jars with lids from Cost Plus World Market)
- custom labels (I used the Katniss style)
- sweet snacks
- salty snacks
- sour snacks
Instructions
- Find or purchase your glass containers first, then decide which label will fit. If you need help deciding on which label size to use for your container, check out this helpful pdf. You can print it out, cut each label shape, and test them on your container before you order. Isn’t that handy?!? After ordering the best label shape, I filled each of the jars with some of their favorite treats… sour, salty or sweet.
The idea behind the snack jars is pretty simple, but what really makes these gifts is using the photos of loved ones. Each photo fits the description perfectly: sweet = baby photos, salty = dog photos, and sour = grandkid’s photos.
It was really fun and easy to make these, and you know what they say – the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!
Used In This Project:
- Large Labels • I chose the “Katniss” style in deep coral, turquoise, and grass.
