Hank’s Fire Truck-Themed Birthday Party

IMG_1349
Sound the alarm, Hank turned two!

I’m now entering the world of themed birthday parties as my little one’s pals are no longer babies. Hank’s fire truck themed birthday bash was definitely the party of the year (according to a gang of exited two-year-olds). I was grateful to get an invite, and I snapped a few photos to show off the clever details put together by Hank’s talented mom, Soojee.

Here are a few of the elements that made the day a five-alarm success:

Guests were welcomed into a room filled with red balloons, burning buildings, and fire trucks.

The kids got to dress up as heroes with red fire chief party hats and got busy personalizing them with stickers.

We were greeted with labels on the door and the emergency candy jar that read: “Hank Turns Two – Let’s Party! Stop, Drop, and Roll with Us!”

The drinks were served in red cups labeled “thirst extinguisher,” and a spot to pen your name so you didn’t lose your cup (or drink from someone else’s cup!).

Behind the drinks and the food table, Soojee displayed her hand-crafted artwork. The buildings were the perfect backdrop to a firehall-themed feast.

The kids all got to take home one of these adorable fire hydrant sprinklers to play with over the summer, and remember all the fun they had at Hank’s fire truck-themed birthday.
