What was the one thing that my son asked for during his one-month summer outdoor adventure camp? Homemade cookies! Not just ANY cookies, but the ones I bake with love, like a mother does for her child who is backpacking through the wilderness, sleeping under the stars… dreaming of my cookies!
How can a Jewish mother send her son cookies and not anyone else? So there I was, lovingly baking and packaging 65 homemade cookies to be sent overnight to the next campsite. Well, this summer, many of those boys were back again at the same camp, only this time their adventures took them sailing to beautiful islands. And what was the one thing these boys asked from my son? You bet! My cookies!
So here I am, baking and packaging cookies with love, but this time I’m making them a bit more personal with hand-labeled packages, making them the best-dressed cookies ever: cookies of champions!
