Lovely Gift Packaging For Handmade Eye Pillows
I’ve been making my own aromatherapy eye pillows inspired by my favorite felines over the past month, and they’ve been the perfect spring sewing project. I especially love working with the fragrant scents of lavender, chamomile and lemon balm. The combination smells SO good. I invite fellow crafters to visit my blog, Adventures In Making, where you can download the free pattern and read a step-by-step tutorial on how to make my ‘Cat Nap’ Eye Pillows.
After whipping up a handful to give as gifts, I decided to create some beautiful packaging to hold my handmade creations. First, I designed my own wrapping paper by turning my watercolor doodles into a pattern in Photoshop and printing it out using my Canon i9900 inkjet printer.
The wrapping paper paired beautifully with Katniss style labels and tags from Evermine. I chose two different colors for the labels, Aruba and Lilac. I also followed this tutorial to whip up a few tissue flower gift toppers for the finishing touch. I can’t wait to give these to my friends and family!
Used In This Project:
- Rectangular Labels • I chose the “Katniss” style in lilac and aruba.
- Scallop Hang Tags • I chose the “Katniss” style in lilac and aruba.
