Orders We Love: Wedding Wine Labels from Alex Richter
Orders We Love is a new blog series featuring real customers with real orders from Evermine. Our designers and production staff are amazed every day at the creativity of our customers. So it seemed fitting to share a few of our favorites with you for inspiration. Ordered something from us? Send us a photo at info@evermine.com for a chance to be featured!
The best part of these wine labels are the photos! We loved how Alex Richter, the photographer and friend of the bride and groom, included the adorable yellow lab in the engagement shoot. The photos look elegant and polished when paired with styles Apothecary Neat and Caprice and they look even better on a wine bottle. Emilie and Jarrett’s story:
“The new Mr. and Mrs. Poe met six years ago in the library of Texas A&M. Not long after, Emilie adopted their yellow lab, Bailee (a.k.a. the most photogenic dog ever). She’s been a huge part of their lives – traveling all over Texas, hiking and kayaking, attended every family event with the couple, and been a source of joy, and love for the couple. It only felt right that she should be there for the big day; unfortunately, she could not be at the venue, so as their friend and photographer, I wanted to honor her in a special way. The wine was actually homemade especially for the couple, and so we had freedom to decorate the bottles however we pleased. “Bailee’s Brunello” and “The Poe’s Angel Blanco” was a great way to surprise the couple with a little piece of their fur-baby at the wedding. Everyone loved that Bai could be a part in her own special way.”
Alex’s idea and styling behind their engagement session:
“This session was extra special to me because the couple is composed of my two best friends. I was able to include things that the couple really loved – their dog, Bailee, and being outdoors. They slowly went from nervous posing and smiling, to just being in the moment together. I think having their fur-child and being on the groom’s family ranch relaxed the groom’s picture-taking reluctance, but also got them excited about each other. I always try to have details that brings the couple together, not to just create a pretty smiling photo, but capture a moment that is really meaningful to the couple, and expressive of their relationship.”
