Packaged Guacamole Fixings

Purim is always an especially fun Holiday. This year, we are very excited to make a community Purim party with the theme of ‘Farmers Market’, and living in Mill Valley, California makes this a theme that’s adored by all. So, as is tradition, we customarily give packages of food to one another (containing at least two different ready-to-eat foods requiring two different blessings), as one of the Mitzvot (commandments) of Purim!

Here I have decided to keep with the theme and give out all the ingredients needed to make one’s very own guacamole. I packaged all the items in the kraft window tin-tie bags which coordinate beautifully with the burlap colored vintage burlap labels, and lend a perfect touch to the decor of our farmers market theme. Of course we shall serve berry baskets of Hamantashen (the traditional triangle shaped jam, poppy seed, prune filled cookie) too!

So, as Purim approaches, (Sunday March 16), I wish you all a wholesome Purim experience, right from the roots!
