Personalized Beer for Father’s Day
I love my dad. He’s amazing. I’m pretty sure he was at every swim meet I ever participated in and I know he saw every play I was in – no matter how small the part. After my mom died, my dad took over both roles, mom and dad. I’m not sure I appreciated all of that at the time; I was, after all, a teenager for most of it. Now that I’m a parent myself, I realize all the sacrifices he made to support my sister and me. Now that I’m a parent, I also realize what a great grandfather he is! All the grandkids (he has eight!) adore him, even the teenagers.
With such a great dad, I want to spoil him for Father’s Day. Sometimes it’s hard, though. He’s one of those “what do you get the guy who has everything?” kind of guys. He loves golf but how many golf shirts and golf balls does one man need? This year however, I’ve thought of a great idea – his own brand!
Several of our customers have already had this idea so I can’t claim to be a genius (our customers can). Aren’t these labels cute? That is a picture of all the grandkids that we took at Christmas time.
My dad no longer drinks alcohol so these labels are going on some good quality root beer and vanilla cream soda bottles. That is the beauty of these, you can put them on any kind of “brew” you want. Dad prefers dark ale? No problem. He’s a Budweiser fan? You can do that. Want to make your own microbrew to give to dad? You can have your labels reflect that. You decide!
I can hardly wait for Father’s Day to give my dad his gift. I’m sure he’ll crack open a bottle, put his feet up, and turn on the golf. For him, that is heaven, and that’s what I want for him on Father’s Day – heaven.
I think this is a great idea. Wish my father would of liked something like thios for fathers day. Instead he hinted at getting a new printer to help with his barcode label printing. Sounds like a lavish present but he is 50 on tuesday so its going to be a joint present! Keep up the good posts.
