Pinterest Collaboration: Floral Arrangements with Chana Scop

Pinterest Collaboration: Floral Arrangements with Blog Contributor Chana Scop | Evermine Blog | www.evermine.com
For this month’s Pinterest collaboration, we’re super excited to be working with regular blog contributor Chana Scop on a floral arrangement-themed inspiration board. This Pinterest theme is especially exciting for us because flowers can be used to enhance events of all kinds, including big, glamorous weddings, small gatherings and everything in-between, so we love experimenting with all the varieties and shapes a floral arrangement can take.

And because Chana coordinates so many events for her family and community, she knows how much a well-arranged bouquet can impact the mood of a room. To get some insight on Chana and the inspiration behind the Floral Arrangements Pinterest board, we’ve asked her a few questions:

Q. How long have you been contributing to the Evermine blog?
A. About 2 years (maybe more?)

Q. How do you come up with your blog post ideas?
A. I co-direct a non profit organization called Chabad of Mill Valley, and coordinate many events, programs & classes that inspire my blog post ideas.

Q. What has been your favorite blog post to write for us? Why?
A. My favorite blog post has been the Honey Cake Slices packaged in triangle boxes for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Giving out slices of cake was so much fun!

Q. What sorts of things do you do when you aren’t working/blogging?
A. Loving every second of being a mother to my 8 beautiful children. Nothing better in the world!

Q. Can you tell us a little about the influence behind the Flower Arrangement Pinterest board?
A. Flowers, especially in my home, are like bringing the outdoors inside. Even a small bud vase or a single blossom handed to me by one of my kids fills that space in my heart that loves and appreciates the beauty of our world and nature.

Josephine Guicciardi is the nom de plume of our creative Evermine blogger. With romantic connections to Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Immortal Beloved” love letters, it is in keeping with the blog’s themes of love and joy. The great composer writes the famous words “ever thine, ever mine, ever ours” to a woman who remains a mystery to this day. Two of the most likely objects of his adoration are Josephine Brunsvik and Guilietta Guicciardi, and it’s from these two women that Josephine Guicciardi draws her persona.
