Rainbows and Gold Gift bags
St. Patricks Day is highly celebrated in my family because we have a heritage rich with Irish blood. Every year I teach my kids about Irish pride, and they always enjoy the special treats I make just for them. Treats like these Rainbows and Gold gift bags.
How to Make:
This project is as easy as it gets. I picked up a bag of rainbow Twizzlers, and a bag of Rolo chocolates at the store, and packaged them in Evermines’s cello bags (medium size).
First you throw a few Rolos in the bottom of the bag – that’s the gold at the end of the rainbow. Then arrange the Twizzlers to form your rainbow over the top of the Rolos. It’s a little tricky getting the Twizzlers to go where you want them since they are a little sticky. I also had to cut about an inch off of the ends to get them to look nice in the bag, but at least I got to snack while creating these little goodie bags.
For the finishing touches I tied the bags up with a pretty green ribbon, and added a personalized green scallop shaped label.
I can’t wait to see their faces light up, on St. Patrick’s day when I give them their Rainbows and Gold Goodie bags!
