How to measure for your label

It's very important to know the size of your label panel to be sure you have a successful outcome when you order your beer labels. Take the time to measure carefully. Beer bottles have a space called the label panel, or print zone. It is a smooth, flat area that has a ridged border on the top and bottom edges. This is the area for your label. Measure the height of this space, between the ridges, and take off ¼" to allow you room to move your label a bit. Measure the circumference of your bottle. Use a measuring tape, or wrap a piece of paper around the bottle marking where the ends overlap. Then flatten it out on a table next to a ruler to find the circumference. You will want your beer label to NOT overlap on the back.
