What are sheet labels, and what are they used for?

Sheet labels are custom, peel-and-stick labels printed on flat sheets, perfect for small to medium quantities. They’re ideal for small-scale projects, personal use, special events, and specialty applications where machine applying is not possible. You can choose from hundreds and hundreds of Evermine’s designs and shapes, and personalize them with your words and images. Or upload your own custom file that fits the sizes we provide.

What materials are available for sheet labels?

• •Vinyl – A rich, smooth satiny surface. Vinyl labels are waterproof, durable, and washable. Vinyl labels are removable after soaking in warm water; they are ideal for reusable containers.
• •Paper – Coated with a smooth satin sheen. Paper labels are suitable for dry environments, and ideal to use as seals that will be torn to open the container. Not recommended for wet conditions or dishwashers..

What lamination options are available for sheet labels?

Lamination is not an option for sheet labels. If you require lamination, please choose our roll labels.

Are sheet labels applied by hand or machine?

Sheet labels are designed for hand application, making them perfect for small-scale projects, personal use, and specialty applications where machine applying will not work.

Are sheet labels durable and waterproof?

Vinyl sheet labels are durable and waterproof. They retain their vivid color for up to two years. They also perform well in most dishwashers, but after multiple trips through they begin to show wear. Paper labels are not waterproof and should not be used in wet environments.

How do I choose the right size and shape for my sheet labels?

The best way to get the right size and shape, is to draw the label dimensions on a piece of paper, cut it out, and tape it to your container. Evermine provides a variety of standard shapes for our sheet labels, including many sizes of circles, ovals, squares, and rectangles and some designer shapes as well.

Can sheet labels be removed and used again?

Vinyl sheet labels peel off easily after soaking in very warm water for a minute, however they may stretch and they may lose some of their adhesive. Paper labels cannot be removed intact.

What surfaces can sheet labels stick to?

Sheet labels, both vinyl and paper, adhere to most everything: glass, plastic, metal, paper, fabric, wood, and wax. For optimal adhesion, apply to a clean, dry, oil-free surface at room temperature.

Can I print different information on each sheet label, like serial numbers?

With sheet labels, we are not able to print different information on each label. However we do support variable data printing on our roll labels. How long does it take to receive sheet label orders?

Most sheet label orders ship within one day if no proof is needed. If you receive a proof, we ship within 2 business days after you approve it. Proofs are digital and are typically emailed within 24 hours. For large orders, we mail you a printed proof, and will print within 2 days after we receive your proof approval. A delay in approving your proof will result in delayed printing of your labels. Be sure to respond promptly to avoid delays.

What is the proofing process for sheet labels?

If you order from one of our hundreds of styles, no proof is necessary; what you see is what you get; the colors have already been tested and we go directly to press. If you upload a custom file, a professional designer reviews your file for safety, bleed, shape, color, resolution and fonts. Short-run orders receive a digital proof via email within 24 hours, while large orders include a mailed hard-copy proof. Printing starts immediately after proof approval, often shipping the same day.

Can I upload my own design or use Evermine’s templates for sheet labels?

Are there color limitations for sheet labels?

Sheet labels are printed in full color using the CMYK process, with up to 36 color options for some styles, and an infinity of options for your custom art. Keep in mind that colors on your screen will differ from the printed labels due to the difference between digital displays (created with colored light) and the finished labels (created using opaque inks on paper). Our skilled design technicians review each file to make sure your colors are optimized for printing.

What are the shipping options for sheet labels?

Free standard shipping is available for orders over $39. Most orders ship within 2 business days, but delays may occur if we are waiting for your response to your proofs. Expedited shipping options are available. Visit the shipping page or contact info@evermine.com for details.

Can I pick up my order in person?

Yes, you may. Select "will call" during checkout, and Evermine will contact you when your order is ready for pickup. Our address is 1124 Washington Avenue, La Grande, Oregon. Our business hours are Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM. We will be happy to take you on a tour of our facility, too.

Can I test a sheet label before ordering in bulk?

You can test by ordering just one sheet of each design or color you are considering. When you receive your label sheets you will be able to choose the one that works best for you. There is little change in our presses’ color space from day to day so you can be confident that subsequent orders will be very close to the same colors.

What if I’m not satisfied with my order?
