There has been so many things that I’ve been looking forward to this summer but nothing tops the wedding of my dear friend Katrina and the love of her life, Fortunato. The wedding is happening this month and it seems like the year of planning and prepping is finally coming together for this special day. As the maid of honor I was there to help her make decisions for her day but I also had the honor of planning an unforgettable bachelorette weekend to celebrate her!
We took off for a weekend in the beautiful city of Vancouver in British Columbia and came back with memories that we’ll all cherish forever.
Of course I was super excited to put together the party favors for all the girls and I’m happy to share them here today. I really wanted to make it special but simple. Small bottles of wine are affordable and are easy to dress up so I chose a nice bottle of Chardonnay and styled it with custom labels and oval tags. It was so quick and easy to put together and I love that I was finally able to use one of my favorite sayings for their label, “Why limit happy to an hour, when it can last a lifetime”.
To finish off the favor I made some personalized buttons, each with a different message that will remind all us girls of the time we had together with Katrina. Katrina’s last name is Ho, so I was really excited to be able to have fun with it and put together a button with the text, “I’m with the Ho”. The best part of making these favors was how personalized I was able to make them, that’s really what it’s all about and it added a special touch to the weekend.
Now it’s time to look forward to the wedding and the great time that I’m sure we’ll all have. Congrats to Katrina and Fortunato!
