The spring season is a time to celebrate the return of all the pretty florals and hues that have been hibernating all winter long, so it’s no surprise that weddings held in spring and early summer are full of rich, flowery details and bright colors. That’s why we thought now would be the perfect time to share this idea for a DIY confetti bar featuring our FREE confetti cone printables which match perfectly with our new Garden Romance wedding stationery.
And while the idea for wedding confetti has been around for awhile, we thought we’d come up with a few ideas for tossables that you may not have already thought of. Something that will add even more to a vibrant spring atmosphere. Here’s how we put together our DIY spring confetti bar:
Gather materials. For our confetti bar, we decided to use flower petals, bird seed, white rice and DIY tissue paper confetti (tutorial found here).
Place each tossable in its own separate container with a scoop. We chose to make our containers out of paper lunch sacks to give the confetti bar a street market-burlap sack look. To do this, you just separate the seam where it’s glued in the back, and then fold the top under. Once you’ve folded the bag down to your desired height, glue or tape the seam back together to keep it in place.
Print, cut and assemble your FREE printable confetti cones.
