DIY Tips: How to Tie a Perfect Bow #tutorial #handmade #gift #favor #howto #wedding #diy
We are always looking for creative and unique finishing touches to homemade projects that we can share with our customers and blog readers. We are constantly posting packaging and styling tips so you, our reader, are always ready to dive into your own projects with confidence.

But no matter how many different styling ideas and tools we have under our belts to share with you all, the ability to tie a basic flat bow is definitely a skill that everyone should have in their toolbox. This tutorial will give you the steps to tying a perfect bow and how to incorporate that knowledge into styling your own packaging no matter what the occasion.

Now that you know how to tie a perfect bow let’s incorporate it with a hang tag for favor packaging. There are two ways to include a hang tag with your bow. Option 1 is best when using small size ribbon and Option 2 is the best for larger ribbon.

With these basic steps you’ll have the tools to put the finishing touches on any of your projects. Now we can all leave our crooked sloppy bow tying past behind us. Yay!

Wow, thanks for sharing. Guess what? I have always stayed away from packing because someone might ask to tie a bow and I hate to say NO to anything. But now I know!!

I tried it but it’s still difficult for me. The knot is very loose. And I think that it all depends what kind of ribbon you use. :/
